This is a very  historically important  Antique  wicker Pioneer motoring car traveling picnic set , not sure who made it but could have been made by William Thornhill , London around the beginning of the 20th century, It came from the  Major General Sir Hugh McCalmont estate , who was also a member of Parliament in 1895, this set was most likely  made around 1902 when he was commanding the troops in the cork district . This is a very nice Antique Victorian English Wicker Motor Car Picnic Traveling  Set, with 2 glass decanters , a small silver plate flask or teapot , some metal tea saucers , , a tin or tole lunch box and a very nice built in tole ware  tea caddy  all within a wicker case . The front of the case has a metal plate covering the inside for serving and the top has interior is lined with leather padding . This case is not marked in any way , no makers mark and no owners markings. It did come from the same estate as the last set i sold .
