There is a piece of paper attached to rear side of the frame with a description of the artist (partial biography). The paper is a bit torn up and not fully legible (as pictured).

 

Estimated Age: circa 1950's - 60's

Approximate size of artwork:  20" x 24"
Framed size is approximately:  24" x 28"

Painting is very good overall condition. It does show normal wear from natural aging and display. 

The frame is period matching. It also shows normal wear for a used frame of this age (scratches, scuffs, nicks, dings, dents, chips, etc..)
