Not everything made it into the LCG Spring Premier, so here we are bringing you an eBay exclusive: 1978 Kenner Star Wars Princess Leia 12 Back-C.

This item is “hobby fresh” and part of a single-owner collection made available for the very first time. In the late 1970’s, our consignor was a manager at a West Coast department store chain called Fedco. With Star Wars mania already underway, he secured a handful of the 12 original Star Wars action figures (in 12 Back and 20 Back form) from the back of the store before they hit shelves (and before they were punched, except R2D2, and price tagged). He had the foresight to keep the collection stored away and sealed in their original packages for almost 45 years. The result is a fantastic, fresh-to-market collection, most with amazing color – all unpunched and without stickers! This is just one example of the 12 pieces available currently. The highlight of the collection is a Luke Skywalker 12 Back with “Telescoping” Saber in fantastic condition – further, the saber is FULLY EXTENDED within the blister! Attractive R2-D2 on 12 Back-C card from 1978. The card exhibits a significant crease at the center of the R2 image as well as at the bottom at midpoint.  Otherwise, the card is very nice with no additional creases, veins, or edgewear. No price tag sticker. Card lays flat. Back of card has the same creasing issues as the front in the same locations. Bubble is clear with no lifting but is dented mostly at the head and stem. R2 figure is strong showcasing an impressive 85 subgrade. A very nice display piece, and one of the few “single owner” pieces left in the hobby.  Encapsulated by AFA (40, 70-40-85), #11048439
