Author Biography

- BIO -Lord Baldwin or to be precise, Lord Chester L. Baldwin II is a Writer, Musician, Songwriter, Playwright and Graphic Artist as well as a Singer-Performer that lives in the Pacific Northwest. Lord Baldwin is happily married and has ten children. In 1967 Lord Baldwin attended Glendora High School, and began his writing career writing short stories and poetry. It was at that time that his English teacher, Miss Olrich, impressed with his work, entered some of Lord Baldwin's works to a national forum competition, ... but he never found out the results because his mother, a sad victim of repeated domestic violence, ran away and took the kids with her by train to the East Coast and landed in New York City. 1968 after having moved to Browns Mills New Jersey, and while going to, Pemberton Township High School, Lord Baldwin continued to write poetry (Lyrics) and short stories which also caught the attention of his English teacher, who encouraged him to share his works with another competition in New York City, but Lord Baldwin had turned his attention and energies to writing lyrics to songs. It was also here in New Jersey that he composed and recorded his musical composition, 'Rain.'In 1994 he began writing short stories for his mother, about many of the happenings and adventures in his life and times as a young man with him and his brother as they got involved with the Boy Scout in the early sixties. When his mother passed away in 1996, his motivation diminished and for the next four years, he shelved the stories and went back to songwriting. Years later, Lord Baldwin returned to writing, and began compiling the stories from his past as chapters to eventually become a novel. Spending an hour each day to write he continued to work on the book. Almost two years later not quite done with the book, he let some of his family and friends read the stories, but after getting negative responses, he tabled the project and started working on a different book, called. 'Heads, ' or, 'Tales from the Summer Of Love.'One night about two in the morning, something came to Lord Baldwin and encouraged him to go back, rewrite, edit and complete, 'Stepping Between The Ants.' This time it took six months to edit and complete the book, which eventually was finished in the fall of 2021. And when that was done I moved to the, 'From The Lost Letters Sent' series of which you are now privy to.
