Small Antique Silver Ladies Fob or Gents Dress Pocket Watch in working order with Geneva Bar cylinder movement and pin handset which probably dates it to the 1890s.

This is a lovely little watch with a clean white enamel dial and beautifully engraved back. Inside the case are the Swiss silver hallmarks shown in the photos. Diameter of Watch is 35 mm. No warranty given or implied but it is currently running fine and keeping good time for any mechanical movement let alone one with a cylinder escapement! Nice clean little item. It comes with the lovely long curb link chain which is 62cm long and weighs somewhere around 28 grams nearly 1 Troy ounce. Width of the links is 4mm wide approximately, so although the links are not particularly large or graduated it may well be possible to make this into a waistcoat watch chain Double Albert if you have the necessary bar and swivel clips.

Please note that the chain is not marked but does test as good grade silver with a fast positive reaction to the testing acid.

Relisted due to someone not reading the description properly. Dimensions are in metric for the convenience of most of the world. 25.4mm = 1 inch.
