Description Jithe Naahi Ekata. A Few Words About the Book This book - means these stories for children, written in my childhood, based on my childhood experiences, and on enjoying stories like Aesop's Fables. The Book, 'Jithe Naahi Ekata' ('Where There's No Unity') narrates ten Ahirani stories for children. An avid reader since class V, I have been listening to & telling folk tales since my childhood. Also, I learnt a lot from bitter experiences of life. This urge to live inspired me to write poems, stories; both in Ahirani, as well as in Marathi. The Marathi poems & stories were being published. But, the Ahirani ones did not see the daylight till the Journal 'Dhol' was published. Still, many Ahirani stories are lying in handwritten form in my notebooks. I have selected ten of these stories, keeping in view children between the age of 3 and 15. This doesn't mean that the stories are not meant for adult readers.
