Protective mesh camouflage suit KZS (USSR, 3 sizes and colors) is a means of personal protection and camouflage consisting of trousers, a jacket with a hood made of 100% linen fabric.

The KZS suit is made of anti-reflective burlap in camouflage colors and impregnated with OP fire retardant. Worn over the main field uniform and OZK. Intended for individual protection of a soldier when the enemy uses nuclear weapons. During the light flash of a nuclear explosion, the suit was charred. At other times it was an excellent means of camouflage. This was facilitated by the baggy appearance of the suit and the anti-reflective mesh structure of the fabric. The RPS with pouches for magazines and grenades was worn over the GLC.

A feature of the KZS camouflage suits is their loose fit and high wear resistance. There are no analogues in modern production. The KZS suit has an enlarged hood (can be worn over a helmet) and elongated sleeves (to protect the hands). For ease of wearing, the hood has a drawstring, the jacket is fastened with buttons, and the waistband and trouser tops are secured with an elastic band. The sleeves are rolled up and secured with a button at the wrist, the hood is secured with a button to the back.

Thanks to its low weight (700g), good camouflage properties and presentable appearance, the KZS is an indispensable thing in the forest, hiking, fishing and other extreme types of recreation. Suitable for outdoor sports, military sports games (airsoft, paintball, etc.)
