This is an immaculate Folio Society edition of James D Watson's account of the discovery of DNA, The Double Helix published in 2010 and introduced by Professor Steve Jones. It is unread, feels unopened and presents as new.

The book is illustrated with many photos and further black and white diagrams. It charts the ptrocess of the discovery of DNA and Watson's work with Crick amongst others as well as his early life.

The book is bright, clean and has no faults. The illustrated black boards with overlaid paper decoration are immaculate.

The slipcase is black and is in very good structural order. There is some very light shelf marking which are really only apparent in a certain light. This is a normal feature of Folio Society slipcases.

In short this is an excellent book in a very good slipcase which would make a lovely addition to a personal science book collection and is a decorative set on the shelf.
