Sun loving deciduous conifers that mature to 70 - 90 feet high with 25 - 40 feet pyramidal spread.  Young trees can grow 2-3 feet per year.

1-3 inch soft narrow bright green needles in dense clusters, autumn foliage turns yellow-orange before falling off for winter dormancy.
3 inch copper brown cones
Pale gray bark that peels off in long strips

At least 6 hours of direct full sun daily
Moist soil with good drainage  
Transplant well during dormancy
Not wind or drought tolerate
