This limited edition model made for the 90 year anniversary of Rickenbacker features 480 shapes, which are popular with Rickenbacker fans and enthusiasts, and is a special edition monumental model with many homages from previous models.
The look is special but full of Rickenbacker's simple rigidity and coolness, so it is never too showy.
The body is 480 shaped, the neck is a maple through neck structure, the body wing maple uses a frame maple with beautiful grain, and the color is tobacco sunburst color named Tobacco Glow after Rickenbacker color.
The checkered binding, black hardware and pick guard, and the fingerboard inlay is a crushed pearl inlay popular with vintage Ricken fans.
It has a special feeling, luxury, and presence that gives a sense of history, but it is not too flashy, cool, and very cool.
The fingerboard is made of MacArthur Ebony, and the paint has a conventional Rickenbacker gloss finish.
The bridge is a 3 D -6 bridge with a shirrah character, and this side has modern specifications. The roller bridge can be adjusted between strings, each octave and each string height can be adjusted, it is easy to change strings, and the stable pitch and sustain are practical for modern scenes.

The pickup is a vintage-like toaster type, but this is a hot toaster pickup, which is a higher gain type than the conventional toaster.
It has a high power, brilliant and firm sound while following the vintage-like Rickentone.
The control is a little different from the usual Rikken. In addition to the 2 Vol 2 Tone, the rear tone is a PUSH/PULL switch, and can be pulled up for a low cut.
This is because the rear of the vintage Rickenbacker originally had a low-cut condenser, and (Recent current models do not come with it.) the low-cut sound is the basis, and it sounds like Rickenbacker.
It has been loved by fans, so it seems to be an homage to that.
This is a special type that can be used for low-cut sound, normal sound, or switching.
In addition, 3-way Toggle SW (pickup selector), output is monoral-only.

The sound of this model has a unique character, while following the history of Rickenbacker.
Unlike the hollow-type Rickenbacker, this model with a maple solid body and maple through-neck construction has a more firm, core tone and rich sustain, while also having a brilliant, crisp Ricken tone, creating a premium piece with a vintage-like Ricken sound, modern playability and stability.
