This is a beautiful ribbed porcelain plate decorated with underglaze blue flowers, leaves and vines, and bird in the center. There are red and gold accents. The plate measures approximately 7 3/4" in diameter and 1" in height. The mark on the back is crossed arrows over an R. This mark is for the Rauenstein factory in Thuringia, Germany, and was used from 1850-1897. The factory began in 1783, started by the three Greiner brothers. In 1849, after the brothers were deceased, the company changed hands but continued to operate well into the 20th century. This plate is in very good condition. There is some light surface wear, and wear to the gold trim.  There are no chips or cracks. It is thick and beautifully made antique German porcelain.
