Well, well, what have we here?  Up for bid is this charming figurine from Fenton, featuring a glass egg in a dark hue (Black? or a very dark blue?) and handpainted with colorful butterflies by artist D. Fredrick. The base is signed, as well as being marked as part of a limited edition, no. 1818 of 2500. The original price tag is still present, although the previous owner taped it to the base, resulting in a small portion of Scotch tape that extends onto the visible portion of the base. (This can be easily resolved, but I did not want to have the tag lost in the process.) The egg stands about 3-1/2" tall. It comes to you in excellent pre-owned condition, with a bit of light shelf wear commensurate with age and display, but no discernible damage, like chips or fractures. What a wonderful addition to your glass curio!

The cold, hard truth, aka shipping & handling terms:   As projected by eBay's shipping calculator, domestic shipping costs on Priority packages reflect USPS counter price--with First Class parcels being a close estimate of actual price within the fluctuating per-ounce rate--plus $0.73 in my handling fees. This handling fee not only contributes toward the obvious selling expenses of bubble wrap, boxes, printer ink, and tape, but more significantly towards the steep selling fees imposed by Ebay on your total invoice (sale price + tax + shipping). Even the sale of a $5 dollar mug will incur me over $2 in fees--the higher the cost and weight of the item, so too the fees. Because my sales are primarily based on lower-ticket items, I would not be able to afford to stay in business without this buffer. Thank you for supporting small business!

Mix it, match it, throw it in your basket! I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so if you'd like, please take a look at my other auctions.  A handling fee per item still applies (see explanation above).

Meow, woof, woof! This item comes from a smoke-free, cat-friendly, and dog-happy home.  Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
