Description
This is a nice die-cast Wabash 4-6-4 Hudson Steam locomotive with Protosounds. This loco features plastic construction, metal wheels, couplers, powerful motor, lighting, sounds. Please see my pictures for additional features.
Known as the Baltic in Europe and the Hudson in North America, the 4-6-4 was introduced in the early 20th century finding success in hauling freight and as a shunting model. Their use would initially find great success on North American railways before eventually becoming mainstays in rail-yards around the world!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are a few minute scratches and rub marks present on both the locomotive and tender. Wheels and rolling pickups show light signs of wear from previous use. Light dust has collected due to storage, so the overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This locomotive does not include DCS (Digital Command System) features because it has ProtoSound 1.0. Only locomotives with ProtoSound 2.0 and ProtoSound 3.0 include DCS functions. This item has not been tested and is being sold As-Is. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included. Check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
