Beautiful vintage 1940s WWII era corde handbag. Made from black gimp and stitched with brown thread giving it more dimension. The front and back have wavy gimp patterns that frame a square abstract “floral” design giving it wonderful even more dimensional drama! The top of the bag has a clear Lucite piece that is etched with an Art Deco design. It is attached to the center clasp. Metal frame. Fabric lining. There is one interior pocket.
Overall excellent vintage condition. There is a few places where the Lucite has become a little cloudy (see pics). The interior lining has a tiny hole. The bag measures 8.5”L x 7.5”H x 3.25” D.
