This was Polini's great idea, and this is the great result: a
innovative carburettor, where every single component has been conceived,
developed and produced by the Bergamo company.
Available in a wide range of diameters 15/17.5/19/21/23/24, it is made entirely of aluminium,
It boasts compact dimensions and weighs 40% less than a traditional carburettor.
The very short intake duct stands out for its exclusive design
concentric and a geometry capable of best optimizing the air flows in the gas transit phase.
The overflow of petrol into the atomizer is made in such a way as to guarantee correct flow dynamics
at each throttle opening position.
The petrol inlet hole and the larger needle allow constant draft even in the most extreme conditions of use.
The level of the float, completely made of plastic, and the seal of the needle,
they are carefully checked during production to ensure the same standard of efficiency over time.
These characteristics make it possible to significantly simplify the setting up of the carburettor calibration.
Thanks to the extremely refined calibration scheme, the petrol-air, main jet and minimum jet flows have been designed to have the
maximum performance with lower consumption.
The compact dimensions of the new carburetor made it necessary to carefully and meticulously manage the internal space and maximize efficiency
of all components, subjected to strict thousandth checks.
To guarantee simple and precise assembly on the most popular engines on the market and compatibility with the different filter boxes, both original and
racing, flanges with various diameters are available.
The realization of such a prestigious project required a profound synergy of skills in the field.
