This is an original press photo. Detroit - Denny McLain, 24 year old Detroit Tiger right-hander, studies a baseball in his home in the Detroit suburb of Beverly Hills. The house, used as a rehearsal studio for his quintet, the office for his business agent and a tourist spot for news media representatives, was declared off limits at high noon Friday. "That's it," said McLain. "No business appointments, no organ rehearsals. I'm closing the door. I'm concentrating on baseball." A victory against the Oakland A's Saturday would make him baseball's first 30 game winner since 1934.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 09-13-1968.
