Here on offer is a rare antique George V and Queen Mary commemorative coronation beaker, dating to 1911.

 

This beaker has a white body and clear glaze featuring a pair of cameo style portraits of George and Mary, surrounded by the emblems of state and surrmounted by the imperial crown, the legend reads:

TO COMMEMORATE THE CORONATION OF

MARY & GEORGE V

22nd JUNE  1911

The back features a rose.

 

 The base has the maker mark for Elijah Cotton Ltd, Hanley Staffordshire. 


This stunning cup is being offered in good antique condition. It measures about 8.6cm tall.

 

A great addition for a collector.
