Mercedes Benz C111 Battery Operated plastic toy Hong Kong 1970s Schuco clone

BO Mercedes Benz C111 toy.

This is a plastic battery operated toy made in Hong Kong in 1970s. It measures roughly 11 inches in length. It featured steerable front wheels and I believe front and reverse operation as well as operating head lights .

The model is all original, complete with exception of perhaps a gear shift lever at the rear, and visually in good displayable condition. It's not tested but I'm guessing it does not operate and there is evidence the previous repair by former owners. I'm selling this toy assuming it does not operate.
