- Fabulous antique 18th century shield shape laydown perfume scent bottle
- In a very beautiful teal blue green glass
- Hand painted gilt decorative detail to all sides
- Silver screw top lid
- Original hand cut matching teal blue green glass stopper
- Measures approximately 85mm maximum length with lid on and approximately 40mm wide
This beautiful Georgian scent bottle is in excellent condition commensurate with age and nature of item. Expect some rubbing/wear to the gilt detail, small marks/dings and tarnish to the silver screw top lid, old accrued dust dirt grime most noticably around the glass thread of the bottle neck (the lid still screws on/off readily), the original stopper is firmly stuck/set in place, no chips or cracks of note, the tiniest nibble/fleabite along one of the faceted long edges of the bottle, otherwise expect general signs of age and use.
