Made in Limoges, France circa 1940.


Marked on base as “Limoges Castel France … 22k Gold”.

This vintage Limoges Castel France trinket box is a beautiful addition to any collection. The oval-shaped box is hand-painted with a pictorial design of a courting couple and finished with 22K gold trim. The box is made of porcelain and has a high gloss finish. This trinket box is perfect for all occasions and can be used in any room of your home, such as the study, bathroom, bedroom, living room, or lounge. The medium-sized box measures 2" in height and 4 3/4" in width, with a weight of 4.8 oz. The box comes unboxed and is an original piece from the 1920-1949 time period, manufactured in France.
