Gibson Custom Shop Japan Limited Run 1957 Les Paul Standard VOS Sparkling Burgundy Top

Description

Japan Limited Run 1957 Les Paul Standard Sparkling Burgundy Top VOS is now in stock!
This is a Japanese limited edition model ordered in the custom color Sparkling Burgundy! Sparkling Burgundy is what we call a dark wine red metallic.

As a brief history of Les Paul, Gibson introduced the Les Paul model in 1952 when it appeared in a Trappies tailpiece on a soap bar P -90 pickup. It was the most beautiful guitar I had ever seen.
Then it becomes a combination bar bridge specification called wraparound. Production of this specification continued until the second half of 1955, when the Tune 0 Matic was adopted.

This item is a 1957 item, 1959 neck shape, 59 fret, custom color Sparkling Burgundy, limited to Japan. This custom color is amazing! By using this coloring in the Les Paul, it has both pop and astringency! The back is a natural back.
In addition, by making the grover black on the peg. Is that JP NO3? It doesn't come with B-Bender, but it has a wonderful look reminiscent of it.

With a VOS finish, the lacquer that celebrates Gibson's unique wet luster is also very attractive. It is thin, soft and has the finest finish that does not disturb the vibration of the wood. The metal parts are lightly aged.
The weight is 4.09 kg. Some people might think it's a little heavy for a custom shop. However, it is very well balanced and can easily fit into your inseam when you sit and hold it. The impressive sound with the waist, probably due to the weight, is also noteworthy!

Another individual feature is the 59 neck profile C shape round which is very easy to grip.
59 Medium Jumbo fret.

The cornerstone of the sound is of course the Custom Bucker pickup. It is an unspotted type.
The Custom Bucker PU, which was once ambiguous about whether it had wax potting or not, is now unified as an unspotted. As with vintage P.A.F., no potting treatment is used. The magnet uses Alnico 3 to extract sweet sound.
Under the cover is a zebra.
The CTS pot faithfully recreates vintage curves and reflects the subtle nuances.

A limited edition product planned by a Japanese dealer. This is the highest level of perfection in the last few years. This coloring, please be numb to the style!
