Written to John Stanhope Arkwright, MP for Hereford. 

"I believe you wished to see me some weeks ago in reference to physical training of children, & I am very sorry I was out of town at the time. I meant to have written to you later when I shall be inspecting London Schools, but I have to do one or two first nearer(?) & if it will interest you to see a school at work I shall be very glad if you can manage to ?????. Two schools ? ????? ?????? as fairly convenient are, - (1) ??? Truant School, Highbury Grove, N. (2) East London Industrial School, Lewisham) near Lewisham Junction Station). (1) I shall be inspecting on Friday next, & (2) on Monday next. I have arranged to inspect the physical drill etc at 3 p.m., & no notice on your part will be necessary should you find it possible to turn up on either occasion. Yours faithfully J.G. Legge. P.S.
