In theory, as long as the fan can recognize, Fan Simulator can be used. 

Note: Most machines will detect 2 fan, so it is best to buy two at a time. In addition, the fan simulator only fooled the machine, Simulated fan presence, the heat dissipation of the machine still needs other ways, such as watercooling, such as centrifugal fan.
