Vintage Asian Genuine Natural Hand Carved Stone Kneeling Horse Statue On Stand

I am not 100% what the horse is made of but it may be marble.  Its very heavy for its size (6"x6"x2.5").  Beautiful piece purchase in Japan many many years ago.
