Gordon Wiltsie, original photograph of a mountain climber in the eastern Sierra mountains, California, signed, titled Eastern Sierra Climber, and numbered 11/200 in pencil beneath the image, about 8 3/4 by 13 3/4 inches, mounted on board and then placed in a 16 by 20 inch matte, in excellent condition. With the photo is a copy of a 1984 magazine page of an article on eastern sierra mountaineering with a similar photo to the one I am offering.
Gordon Wiltsie is a well known National Geographic photographer who has become one of the best mountaineering photographers in the world. According to his website, "Gordon's limited editions are made by a master giclee printer on archival lustre paper in Bozeman, Montana and are dry mounted and matted on acid-free museum board. In most cases editions are limited to 200 signed prints of any image, no matter what the size."
