Obverse: Name of the Abbasid Caliph: Al Nasir L'Deen Allah Amir Al-Momineen (commander of the Faithful) in central square  with excurvate sides. 


Reverse: Within an ornate border of triangles with two enclosing circles the Islamic profession of faith i.e., Shahadah, mint name (بدخشا) at the top
