Edition 1000. SIGNED IN THE PLATE.

Paper size 12.25x9.25 inches. Published in Paris in 1951 after an original drawing. 
Condition: This image was never framed or mounted and is in very good NEW condition .

HELIOGRAVURE is an Intaglio printing process that uses a flat copper plate etched deeply and printed by hand.
The copper plate is used to print the image onto etching paper using inks.HELIOGRAVURE was in wide use up until the 1950’s , now considered too expensive, HELIOGRAVURE has all but disappeared.
