Vtg OOAK Hand Painted Water Hand Painted Vessel by Italian Deruta Family Signed in perfect condition. This stoneware vessel can be used for decorative or practical purposes and the majolica designs are highly collectible.

This vessel has a textured finish and is hand painted. This finish is called Effetto Lacca. The intricate design is painted in garnet, turquoise, black and fern green against a nutmeg brown background. 

Most of the Deruta family motifs are floral. or organic in some way so this pattern is very rare.
