**RARE** Ray-Ban B&L Translucent Orbs W2390 G-15 Reflective Mirror Lenses Sunglasses One of a Kind Vintage 80's/90's Steampunk.

These are a part of Ray-Ban Bausch & Lomb's hard to find "Orb" collection. This pair in particular is incredibly hard to find since they are translucent. Bausch & Lomb had various different productions of short-term sunglass lines (e.g. the "Diamond Hard," The "General," "Ambermatic," "Chromax," etc.) which are relatively unknown today outside of a community of collectors and vintage sunglass enthusiasts.

The design on these is unique, from the arms to the frames of the sunglasses themselves. These do NOT appear to have ever been worn, with only the faintest of blemishes from what I would assume is the result of being moved in and out of different cases over the years. This is just my opinion, though, and not to be taken as a statement of fact. They DO come with an authentic Ray-Ban hard case and cloth, but they are NOT the original ones that these sunglasses were sold in.

These sunglasses have the common identifying marks of authentic B&L-era Ray-Bans: The "Ray-Ban" insignia is marked on the upper-left corner of the left lens, and the "B&L" initials are embossed on both the left and right lenses on the outer edge adjacent to the arm hinges.

Unique to this pair is the “Orbs” cursive logo on the outside of the right arm hinge (shown above), the twisted arm pieces, and the obvious curved cutout in the arm frames. Also very uncommon for B&L-era Ray-Bans, the “Orbs” featured Phillips head screws in the hinges rather than flathead screws. These have the classic Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban green “G-15” lenses, but they are mirrored and highly reflective which not provides a unique look, but adds additional protection to the wearer’s eyes.
