Lovely and rare silver overlay Chanel mini perfume bottle. This is empty--no perfume is remaining. We know this wonderful collectible was made in France from its intertwined, embossed "HP" on the bottom of the bottle. This was the signature of the French glass company Pochet et du Courval. The bottom of the stopper also has a very difficult to see marking as well. We were able to make out "Made in Fra" and we can reasonably assume this was another indicator of its French origin.

The bottom has "HP Chanel 1" embossed across it. We don't know if this means it was for the first Chanel perfume or if it has another meaning.

We do not know if the silver overlay is sterling or silverplate. Everything we've seen dates it as an older Chanel piece. Our bottle is in good vintage condition. We did not clean it before taking photos, so there is a small bit of residue in the bottle and it could use a gentle, general cleaning by a professional or someone who know more about these items than we do! We did not notice any chipping other than one small area on the underside of the stopper by the corner. We have included a photo. It is fairly difficult to see when examining the stopper and nearly impossible to see when the stopper is in the bottle. The glue that holds the overlay in place has aging/yellowing as well. All wear is consistent and expected with age and use.

We received this bottle from the estate of an amazing antiques and vintage collector. We have every reason to believe it is authentic. We will be doing free return shipping if you do not immediately fall in love with this little beauty. Please see photos for more detail.
