Made in Japan by YKK. Beautiful embossing and no cheap looking shiny lacquer like what you find on most jeans nowadays. The embossing details is much more defined than some similar style button made here in the states. Beautiful pre-war union made style.

Diameter is around 0.625”

These hand-sewn buttons are much better than the conventional buttons:

1. they are easy to sew on, required no specialized tools to install

2. These don’t have the bulky tall shaft in the middle. You can comfortably wear both belts and suspenders with these installed and not even feel that they are there when you wear belts.

The core is made of copper and the top part appears to be aluminum. The patters will develop a shining texture as you wear them (see pictures)
