KMC Venture 1852 Slyvanius Thayer West Point Army Superintendent
KMC Venture First Day Cover
KMC Venture 1st Cachets were produced for 1733 Captain Cook.
The KMC Venture cachet were distinctive usually with informative text.
The reverse of the cachet has a rubber stamp stating "K. M. C. Venture Limited Edition 500" or "A product of K.M.C. Venture" I don't know whether they are still made or not, the last one I have in my collection was made in 1993 which is probally the last year.
The frame around the images is for illustration only and was done graphically.
The Scott Mellone 2008 US First Day Cover Catalogue & Checklist in cachet multiplier section show these covers 2 1/2 multiplier of catalogue value.
