Vintage - purchased about 1990 in a Miami department store. Has always worked perfectly
Beautiful rich brushed gold sides and top. The 3/16" sides of the pieces are plain shiny gold and help define the crisp rectangular shape of the clock. There are 4 gold 'buttons' on both the top and bottom for aesthetics and the bottom 4 lift the clock ~ 1/4" above the surface it sits on. The interior sides have the same gold treatment. The front panel is clear glass, framed on the sides with narrow gold side panels, only ~1/2 wide. The clock appears to be suspended in the frame of the gold - it is held up by a glass panel in the back side. The face is multi-layered, with worldwide locations, military hours and regular time, map that shows earth from North Pole. The hands of the clock are above. Above that is a 'cute' little plane that acts as the second hand. The back side gives easy access to the clock movement and battery. with a easy to open panel - all enclosed by a hard black plastic casing.
Excellent condition - no scratches, stains, dents, etc. The clock works fine, in fact, the little plane second-hand is revolving as I write this.
Perfect for most any room - home or office.
Will be packaged in lots of bubble wrap, padding and sent in a sturdy box.

Unless
stated, spots on photos are glare or reflections of light and/ or color
of nearby objects while photographing. I sometimes show photos in
different lighting, backgrounds, etc to show a detail or show how the item
looks in different lighting, backgrounds, etc.
Photos I have included are part of my description, as a photo can often truly describe better than what is written.
SHIPPING
I
offer Combined Shipping. It is based on size (dimensions) of box or pouch etc, its total weight, and, where
it's being sent. This seems fairer than 'formulas' I've seen that use total item quantity, using some
decreasing %, etc ,and to me, this offers the BUYER the best total price. That said, some
items cannot be combined, based on fragility of
item(s) and safe arrival to your location, ie - no bowling balls-crystal
stemware combinations.
Both Ground
Advantage and
Priority (a bit more cost) Shipping are usually offered
via USPS - it depends on how quickly you want the item. I also offer
Media Mail, if appropriate. And if one of the Flat Rate Boxes/Envelopes work better, that's fine if something is heavy but small and comes in at a lower shipping cost. Because I live on the West Coast, and
Shipping Costs vary so much with weight/distance, I offer shipping at
Calculated Cost rather than Fixed Price. (unless it's rare exception just mentioned)
I
will always try to offer your item(s) at lowest cost to you - as long as
the item is safe from damage - unless you specify a more expensive or different
choice.
I
will ship same day or next-day from when order/payment is complete - it
depends on time I receive Ebay's notice. I have indicated 1-day Service on EBAY's form. I do allow for 2 day ONLY if
weather is a factor (I would write the buyer and explain if possible) -OR- I've need to leave for day and order came in very late night before.
I will include in my listing, if an item is AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICKUP because of size, weight, fragility, value. Or, if it is more convenient for you, and you are nearby, I can meet you in a public place, once paid. Contact me if that works for you. I am in 98092.
I offer returns, IF item is returned in the same condition as it was sent to you.
PRICING
I
try to offer the Buyer a good deal, competitively priced (through
research and/or checking other similar items listed, and Ebay's Price
guide). If you really want item, or think i might take a lower offer
(where OR BEST OFFER is available), feel free to offer, there are always counteroffers.
If
I have something unique or particularly valuable, I take that into
consideration or may have gotten advice from a better authority than
myself in pricing.
Most items are comparable
to what else is similar online. However, you will often find some items
in my listings that are quite inexpensively priced -Things I know
nothing about (and don't want to), things that could be considered nice
for a garage sale or estate sale but would rather do on eBAY.... or because I would love to sell to
someone who wants/ can use - and then I no longer have in storage or
taking room in my house. WIN/WIN FOR EVERYONE!!!!
