This is a KEITH HARING CALENDAR 1987 ABBEVILLE PRESS INC. (* Actual size: W350mm/H320mm)
KEITH HARING (May 4, 1985-February 16, 1990) started his career as a subway artist in 1980, doing chalk drawings on advertising billboards in the New York City subway system.
In October 1986, he painted a 100-meter wall in yellow as a courageous plea for peace, including painting the Berlin Wall.
This calendar (1987) was released around the same time. Each page is a work of art, but the dates are also hand-painted, making the calendar as a whole feel like a work of art.
The condition of this item is about 35 years old. It is unused and in storage, but as you can see in the photos, it has deteriorated over time. As shown in the photos, there is discoloration on the inside of the item.
