This Globe is perfect for any area in the house. When button is turned on the lights will come on in the hat and the glitter will swirl around with the help of the motor inside. The motor will automatically go on and off at times. When motor is stopped, the glitter will stay suspended in its liquid. Also, the light in the hat will fade in and out. Works and Looks Awesome!!
Selling for my aunt who bought this many years ago at a Christmas Shop she likes to go to. She cannot remember the year she bought it but knows it was many years ago. I asked her if it was 5-15 years ago, and she said more than likely.
She said the store had this in their Halloween section marked "Brand New/Works/As IS". She asked one of the ladies that worked there what was wrong with it and they said it had been sent with blemishes.
I have taken photos from what my aunt pointed out to me what the blemishes they told her were:
-I apologize for the way the pics turned out so dark. I had 3 lights around me to lighten it up and this is how they turned out. After I uploaded the pics, I noticed my camera was on the warm setting. I decided to keep these pics instead of taking them again because I had packed the globe in the box and didn't want to do it all over again.
-The side rim on the hat looks like a chip but it is actually a defect caused by the manufacturer.
-There is a splatter of purple paint where they painted around the hat.
-Underneath the hat there is a spot of glue where they hot-glued the hat to the globe.
-In areas on the globe itself there are some abrasions. Hard to see unless up close.
-Other than that, the globe is in Excellent/Great/Brand New Cond.
She did not mind the blemishes on it. She said it added to the character of the Jack O Lantern and that is why she decided to buy it. The store could not find the original box, so they wrapped it up for her.
My aunt says she did display a couple of times on her dining room table for Halloween. She has kept it in a plastic bin in her attic since.

Requires 3 AA Batteries. She said they were not included when she bought the globe.
-I have the globe wrapped in bubble wrap and a sheet of foam.
-I have placed foam on all sides inside the box to help support and protect it.
-On top I have placed a sheet of foam and packing bubbles.
-The globe is secured and well protected inside the box.
-The box itself is very sturdy.
