1955 Press Photo Gimbels stamp/coin dept exhibit includes US Pine Tree Shilling
This is an original press photo. An exhibit of hundreds of tokens, coins and currency from throughout the world will be shown for two weeks beginning Monday in the stamp and coin department at Gimbels. The exhibit will include one of the oldest coins known to man, a small silver likeness of a turtle made at Aegina, an island near Greece in the seventeenth century B.C.
