These have Passive EQ controls so are more similar in sound to the mk3, and dare I say it better for guitar than the standard mk4 50+/120 head with their active/noisy EQ’s
The cleans in this are on par with any other amp, fender Vox etc, nice grind when cranked, takes overdrizes, fuzz's and downtuned guitars like a charm, this can also be used for bass!
its also really not very hard to convert these into Hiwatt specs, the magic of the Hiwatt sound is in the transformers anyway, having said that I am mightily tempted to keep it and do just that!

its in great condition and is loaded with a set of modern valves(a mixture of JJ's and EHX)
