Mid-century style vintage West Germany vase from the 70's. The vase was manufactured by Bay Keramik. It has a light beige colour all around with some modern design in bright yellow, brown and black. The vase is in perfect condition and will suits any vintage, modern or contemporary homes.

By the early 1960s the West German factories started to experiment heavily with the decorative effects of glazes. This experimentation was mainly with the use of mostly drip glazes, with one glaze running over another, usually in a contrasting colour or a different thickness, resulting in a lava-like effect. However it was the 1970s that saw a true expression in experimentation and innovation with pots of all types, from floor vases to miniature bowls, made in bizarre shapes and covered in all kinds of dazzling colours and patterns.

Produced by one of the famous factories Bay Keramik, this beautiful tall colourful vase is extremely typical of its era and a real stand out item. The perfect piece to add to any collection or a great way for you yo start!
