antique mid 19th c purple velvet covered with silver clasp dated 1852
1. 5 x 3.25 x 1.5 in. thick ,
2. very good condition, not perfect
3. velvet covers
4. velvet lightly faded small damage on the back and bottom corners of spin, see photo
5. pages edges are gold gilt
6. small silver tag on spine, "Bible", silver colored metal, not marked silver, may polish
7. all edges front and back of covers are metal bound, see photo
8. spine is good, strong
9. metal clasp is silver colored, not marked silver, may also polish
10. pin on hinge of clasp has moved partly, see photo
11. velvet under the metal edge where the clasp is has pulled out slightly
12. inscription in back in pencil "this Bible belonged to Mary Louise Ralston, given to me in 1921"
13. all pages are well bound, a couple of age spots,
