Good antique partial service Old Paris (also called Vieux Paris) Porcelain plates, cups and saucers dating from early to mid 1800s. The deep burgundy and gold trim consistent with formal use. Only the large plates, 9.2" plates show significant loss to the gilt edges. Hence this service might be more appropriate for a dessert or salad coarse, with the large plates useful as serving plates.
Old Paris porcelain is frequently unmarked. Everything about these plates is consistent with the maker. They have been in MY family for over 70 years! My Grandmother purchased them when she was in a very acquisitive phase, with antiques dealers making trips to Paris for her to find the furnishings for her home. This service was not taken to auction at Christies. They got the serrvice used by the royal family that my gandmother used every Sunday (can you imagine?! A different world...)

There are 12 - 7 1/8" dessert, pastry or salad plates, 12 coffee cups, 4 7/8" by 2" high, 12 saucers 5 5/8" and 11 plates 9 3/8".
Condition as stated is good except for some wear to the gilt trim, particularly on the 9 3/8" plates. Clearly these saw the most use.
