Lot of 3 vintage hardcover children’s books. All are first editions. I’ve included very conservative pricing for each book. They include:

1. Never Tease a Weasel 1964 - $5

You can knit a kitten mittens
And perhaps that cat would purr.
You could fit a fox with socks
That exactly matched his fur.
You could make a goat a coat with a collar trimmed in mink
Or give a pig a wig
In a dainty shade of pink.
But never tease a weasel;
This is very good advice.
A weasel will not like it
And teasing isn't nice!

2. The Monstrous Glisson Glop 1970 - $3

The Monstrous Glisson Glop dwells in the deep end of the ocean, where he feasts on lantern fish and electric eels. Until, one day, there’s no one left to light up the ocean. What happens when the scariest monster in the sea discovers he’s afraid of the dark?

3. The Mouse and the Elephant 1969 - $3

The moral of “The Mouse And The Elephant” story is that “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” In the story, first, the king of elephants helped the mice by taking another route to go back home and saved the houses belonging to the mice. In return, the mice helped the elephants when they were trapped in the hunter’s net. Therefore, we can say that “helping friends in need” is an important characteristic of a true friend, which is often put to test in difficult situations.
