This is a vintage lens made in the former Soviet Union (USSR). Zenitar-M 50 1.7 is an excellent fast lens. It has good sharpness at all apertures and good bokeh outdoors. Zenitar-M f1.7/50mm is an interesting lens with an ancient image and a fixed focal length of 50 mm. The ring is seen to move smoothly. The minimum measuring distance is 45 cm, infinity starts from 15 meters on the lens scale. The aperture scale can be set to 1.7, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16. The ring itself rotates approximately 270 degrees. The assembly moves very objectively when examined. The lens has an excellent aperture advantage of F1.7, which allows for very low speed. The lens has a blinking (jumping) aperture. It is very convenient that it can be turned off with a special switch and the aperture values can be set manually.
