This listing is for a pat. dated Nov. 5, 1912 on the collar and marked in relief on the front base of the piece DORCHESTER POTTERY WKS. BOSTON, MASS. Plus marked under the glaze in cobalt blue stencil, P. L. RYDER, WORCESTER, MASS. - HENDERSON FOOT WARMER. The warmer is round on three sides and flat on the back side with a mushroom top knob, metal threaded filler cap and collar in the upper 1/3 of the front of the glazed white pottery warmer. It is 11” long including the knob top, 6” in diameter at the bulbous part and has an oval 4-1/4” x 4” diameter base. CONDITION: in very good as found condition in a local estate, no chips, cracks or repairs. There is wear to the original finish on the filler cap and collar.
