Flax flour is finely ground flax seeds.
Linseed meal can be used in almost any recipe, and even as a substitute for eggs or butter. It is a highly nutritious addition to any diet. It does not contain salt and sugar and can be mixed with warm milk or warm water and the desired taste can be achieved by adding salt, sugar or honey. It is used in tiny quantities, as it swells greatly and secretes mucous substances that facilitate digestion.

The amino acid composition of flaxseed proteins is the most valuable plant protein and of high nutritional value.


The fat in flax meal: The fat content of the flour is 30% polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6, and with a low content of saturated fatty acids, it contributes to important biological functions in the body.

Dietary fibers (fibers) in flax meal are the cell walls of the seeds, which consist of polysaccharides, starch and lignans. Dietary fiber in flax promotes peristalsis and helps reduce cholesterol levels.

Flaxseed is one of the richest sources of lignans belonging to the class of phytoestrogens, derived substances that induce estrogenic activity in the body. Scientific evidence indicates that flax lignans have anti-allergic activity.


The minerals and vitamins in flax meal are a natural source of important vitamins A, E, B1, B2, B5, B6, B9. Flax seeds are particularly rich in potassium. They contain seven times more potassium than bananas. It is also important that flour is a rich source of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron, molybdenum, copper, chromium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium. All these elements are in an easily digestible form. Flax flour is very beneficial for compensating for mineral deficiency in dietary regimes.


How to use Flax seed flour:

Culinary Purpose: Use to make loaves, health bars, pizza crust. Add to smoothies, shakes, salad dressing or sauce.

As an egg substitute in baked goods: Mix well 1 tablespoon of flax meal with 3 tablespoons of water and allow the mixture to gel.



Therapeutic purpose:

*Internal: An extract is made from 1 tablespoon of flour poured with 450 ml of cold water. After soaking for 15 minutes, drink 150 ml 3 times a day.

*Externally, compresses (paws) are made from flax meal, mixed into a slurry with warm water. The latter is a very suitable remedy for burns, for easy epithelization of the skin.
