Based on in-depth research of the actual aircraft at five aviation museums in the U.S. and Canada, the powerful style with inverted gull wings and huge propeller has been fully reproduced on a large scale.
The P&W R-2800 engine is sharply molded for a precise finish.
The inverted gull type main wings can be selected to be deployed or folded.
The folded part is also reproduced in high detail. The cockpit interior with no floorboard is also reproduced with full 3D effect.
Realistic reproduction of the main wing upholstery.
Three-part flaps and elevators can be selected to be raised or lowered.
Two types of rear upper fuselage panels are included.
The panel lines of the early type and the late type can be selected. The engine cowl can be removed after completion.
The upper panel of the main fuel tank and other parts are separate parts with sharp rivets and panel lines.
Canopy is selectable between open and closed.
Special parts are provided for both open and closed canopies.
The surface of the fuselage features delicate rivet engravings.
The main landing gear and tailwheel are selectable between parked and in flight.
Two types of crew members are included, one in a seated position and the other in a standing pose.
Includes etched parts to reproduce seatbelts and other parts.
Includes a stand for display in flight.
