This is a vintage Mid Century Modern ceramic lusterware glaze wall pocket vase, made in Japan. It is of a mini cuckoo clock with two blue birds and clusters of grapes and leaves. The sides are painted a peachy-orange glazed lusterware. Stamped Japan on the bottom and also Japan engraved in the back. It is in nice condition. No crazing, no cracks or chips, no chips or rough spots on the top bird's beak.  There might be a very slight rough edge on the bottom right...hard to tell if this was original to the molding manufacturing process. The painted numbers on the clock are in great condition. Minimal paint loss through-out. Can be hung on the wall or used as a sitting shelf figurine.
