There are no significant damages or loss of gold paint (some scuffs are present), and the item has a good luster, indicating it is in good condition. There is some slight dirt on the foot of the item where the glaze does not cover, and the letter "a" in the backstamp "Fine Bone China" on the cup is misaligned. This is a production issue, not a defect, and does not affect normal use or significantly detract from the item's appearance. The original box is not available
