This beautiful item has been in my collection for some time.

Dating to the early 16th century and of German origin.

It is all complete and original , except possibly the leather covered grip 'might' be 19th century but could well be original.

I bought this from a collector in the South East UK, and he had bought it from a Bonhams auction in the UK.   I did see the catalogue when I bought it but never had one myself.

This piece is clearly illustrated and authenticated.
