This beautiful item has been in my collection for some time.

It dates to the late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age.

I bought it some years ago at an auction in Devon, I think I still have the catalogue which will be added if I can find it.

When I bought it, I was told by the auction house that it had been put into auction by a family, and they stated that it had been discovered in Ireland many years ago.

The extreme tip of it is missing, and looks to have been lost around the time it was deposited.

To find a complete example of this is extremely rare.
