The bike did run. It had a new piston, piston rings and it had the head rebored to suit the new piston. It ran for about an hour and was great, but then it started rattling, so I stopped the engine. 

Since then, I have tried to kick it over, but it feels quite stiff, and has not started since! so I am selling as a non runner. I would guess it needs the head taken off and checked, before trying to start it. Please assume you might need to do a top end rebuild.

The tank was originally WHITE, but the tank leaked fuel. I found the blue tank on Ebay, as well as matching plastics. Obviously they would have been white originally, but they never came on the bike.

The front brake needs bleeding and topping up, but the screws on the brake fluid reservoir are very stiff to undo, so it has not been done.

The tyres are amazing on the bike, and it looks great. Its a 1987 bike, and I am really sorry to see it go, but new hobbies require me to get on and sell it  !!
